God is the source of all that is me. Nothing in me has been because I've mustered it up. God is the One that created my heart and fills it up as well. Sometimes it is easy to say that God is everything - but to really live it out. What does that translate into real life? It means that I have access to the Source of patience when my two-year-old defies me 100 times before 10:00am. It means that I have the wisdom to know what next step needs to be taken because the Source is inside me, guiding me. I have the freedom to love those who have hurt me because love itself has filled my heart and is transforming it to look like His.
I abide in Christ and in doing so I find rest, and the peace of God which passes all understanding fills my heart and life. - John Hunter
Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
Give her the reward she has earned,
and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.
Proverbs 31:30-31
He is the Source.
Of everything.
Strength for your day.
Wisdom for your task.
Comfort for your soul.
Grace for your battle.
Provision for each need.
Understanding for each failure.
Assistance for every encounter.
