Friday Favorites - Children's Book for May 2014

Today's Friday Favorites:

Children's Book for May 2014

One of my all-time favorite children's book growing up is one that isn't very popular.  In fact, I've never seen it in a regular book store or even a library.

It is a wonderful book asking the question: "What if everybody...."

When just one person does something bad, we my think it doesn't matter.  This book helps us see what would happen if EVERYBODY did not mind their manners!?

The world would be a silly, crazy place!

It matters what ONE person does.

The book is full of silly pictures and funny scenerios.  It is great for children ages 3 and up.  I like this book because at the end it gives an alternative to all of the "bad habits" mentioned throughout the story.  So instead of "squeezing the cat" - children are encouraged to "pet the cat." - which is a lesson particularly helpful in our house!  I hope you will check out this book that teaches children even ONE person doing what is good is so very important!

Happy Reading!
